SAP
����Super Absorbent Polymer (sap) is a macromolecule material, which can sop up a great deal of water. It is innocuous and can sop up water and release water time after time, so in agriculture people called it a "mini-reservoir". At the same time, it can also absorb fertilizers, and pesticides and release them slowly, add their efficacy. Super absorbent polymer is widely used in agriculture, forestry, gardening, and construction materials. It is also widely used in industries products as petrochemicals, cables, paper, sensors, and fire fighting equipment, fiber products, cosmetics, food preservation and water-inflatable toys. In medical treatment it can also be widely used in sanitary napkins, infant disposable diapers, adult incontinence pads, health and its ice cap, ice cushion, pledget for medicine and other fields. |
Product characteristics:
1. Nontoxic, Safety and environmental. SAP will finally decompose to carbon dioxide, water, ammonia, sodium and potassium ion etc, without any remainder.
2. Save water. It can restrain water vaporization, prevent soil erosion, even under the condition of irrigation, we can still save water more than 50%.
3. Improve the structure of soil. It can promote microbe growing, and improve the utilization of soil efficiently.
4. Long term of use. With the characteristics of different types of polymer, it can be cyclic utilized of sopping up and releasing water. The lifetime can reach six years, so it is the longest life of the soil moisture products on the market currently.
5.High speed of absorbing. The longest time from absorption to saturation is generally about 15-40 minutes; the shortest time is 0.4 minutes.
6. High utilization rate of fertilizer. SAP is regarded as "small reservoir". Make the trace elements reduce by one-third which take in fertilizing, irrigating (or rain) that make water and soil loss. When the soil becomes dry again, SAP that has absorbed enough water makes the soil moist in order to supplying the root of the plant with enough water. Even in the desert and the dry climate, we also can use SAP to plant the tree and the flower.
7.The root can't putrefy when absorbing enough water. SAP will expand into hydro gel crystalloid when absorbing enough water. Even though it closes to the root systems of plants it will not decompose.

Main functions:
1. Water keeping. SAP cannot dissolve itself in water, but they can absorb the amount of water that be equivalent to or even 100 times of their own weight. The product can inhibit water evaporation efficiently. After soaking SAP into soil, to a large extent, it restrained water evaporation, raised saturation of water, reduced the saturated water conductivity of soil, thereby slowed down the pace of water releasing, reduced infiltration and loss of water to achieve the water-keeping purpose
2. Fertilizer keeping. Owing to the function of absorbing and storing water, therefore. SAP can make use of nutrient fertilizers the plants needed, such as pesticide and other chemical nutrients etc. in a certain extent; it can reduce the loss of the nutrient.
3. Temperature keeping. SAP has the properties of heat preservation. After using SAP, water can be used to maintain some of the heat of the daytime light to accommodate the temperature of night. Which can reduce temperature difference between day and night. 0.1%-0. 2% of SAP has a cushion effect on soil temperature.
4.Improve soil structure. When inserting SAP into soil, with the regular change between expansion and shrinkage, can make soil change compaction to loosen. Thereby improving soil conditions to some extent.
Application in Agriculture:
1.Grass industry
(1),Lawn:
It is widely used in the new lawn, high rate of emergence, longer time of water keeping and simple usage. Usually, it can be used for golf courses and football courts.
Method A: Sprinkle SAP on the ground (Based on soil type and moisture conditions, spread 20-50g per square meter). When hoeing, we can use tooth harrow to remove leveling, irrigation water enough, then can be waiting to seed;
Method B: mix sap to grass seed to sow with a certain proportion. But after sowing, we need to place surface soil onto it. In the drought area, when watering, we can spray the dry products to reduce evaporation.<Dosage: emulsion 0.2-0.4kg/ acre; powder 0.08-0.15kg>.
Method C: we can use SAP on the lawn that had already modeled, cut the grass to the 5cm high and clean off. Add sap to lawn fertilizer with a proportion 1:40. After using tooth harrow to loosen soil, it is fully integrated with soil fully, then water it.
Method D. generally speaking, we can make use of high-pressure tank car to spray sap over road slope and rock (the method only restrict using)
(2).Grassland:
In the sand area, mostly we choose Leguminous and composite grass seed to sow. It is very simple for us to do it. What the most important is that it can improve percentage of germination.
2.Tree Planting
(1)Root Dipping According to the amount of the trees which are need to dip root, mix sap into 30 liter water, after fully churning up and dissolving, then we can dip the root and implant the tree .if needing long-distance transportation, we need to bind up the root with plastic envelope or seal to preserve to improve the rate of survival
(2)Root spraying When implanting new tree (in the sand or soil conditions), we spray sap to the root of tree with a proportion15G per tree, fully churn up with soil, and fill in enough soil and water is ok.
(3)Dip hole and churn up soil We can dip hole around the tree (wide: 25cm,deep: not more than 40cm,but prevent destroy root). Mix soil with sap. Then water it
(4)When planting trees in the desert, the implant methods of big tree are the same as above. The more proportion, the more quantities
